The Search section allows a user to search for specific messages, forums, reports, users, or events.  In each type of search, multiple criteria can be used to narrow or broaden the range.  For example, to search for all messages that contain "potomac" in the subject, have a username of "ssklarew", and were posted after July 30, 2001; the search criteria would be set as follows:

Note: Basic Searches can be performed in the Left-Panel of the VAflyfish screen by selecting the areas to be searched (Forums, Messages, Reports, Users), entering the word to search for, and clicking  .
